Petersburg Tourism

The Petersburg Tourism Corporation was founded in 2006 to promote one of Virginia’s most historic and diverse regions. The area itself has been attracting visitors for over 400 years.

What We Did

The goal of the project was to showcase the breadth of activities, attractions, and dining options that the area has to offer without being overwhelming for the user. We organized the content with intuitive labels and visual cues, used vibrant photography in the design, and installed a robust content management system to allow the client to easily add new events, blog posts, and other content. We also created a mechanism that allows users to tag and save content to their personal travel planner.
