Southeastern Guide Dogs

Southeastern Guide Dogs was founded in 1982 to train and partner canines with veterans and people with visual impairments. Using the latest in behavior research, the organization serves graduates across the U.S. by placing more than 100 dogs each year into careers benefitting people with visual impairments. Most notably, Southeastern Guide Dogs provides all of its services free of charge and receives no government funding.

What We Did

The primary goal of the project was to encourage the user to engage with the organization. We accomplished this by highlighting the breadth of the organization’s services and the many different ways that a person can get involved. A secondary goal of the project was to provide an easy content management tool without limiting visual impact, so a custom WordPress theme was created.
